When is a road not a road? When it has been chopped up into a cycle path. In the olden days the road in the foreground (Siston Hill) used to take cars over an old stone bridge to the New Cheltenham district on the horizon. But the ring road put paid to that - now you can see that the road changes abruptly into the cycle path crossing the new bridge (see photo 3).
