Sue

PEN PORTRAIT:
Our Sue started 'treading the boards' at school
and in a drama group in her home town, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Sue swore she'd
never drink alcohol, smoke or marry an Englishman. Now a non-smoker but still
works as a production controller at the Bristol Winery of Matthew Clark nearby,
and still married to our stage manager, Steve -
obviously a woman of principle.
Most of Sue's experience has been gained with the local Whitchurch Players,
where she's acted in many plays, as well as directing a few - she even received
(but unfortunately didn't win) an Evening Post Rose Bowl nomination for
"best supporting actress". She had a couple of small roles in our
pantomimes, but Snow White was Sue's third go as director.
