PEN PORTRAIT:Bernard was part of the backstage team for the Ecumaniacs since we began and has Stage Managed one or two productions. He usually preferred to work "quietly" behind the scenes and not in the front line - but having been pushed into an "on stage song" in 1997 with the rest of the back stage crew, he was in the limelight, and they almost stole the show! And now he has starred as the back end of Dayshee the cow!!! His practical thoughts and skills, along with the rest of the team, contributed to the way the scenes unfolded for the audiences. Bernard has a very good sense of humour and a quick wit, and sometimes the "shows and fun" backstage rivalled the actual panto. Ask him about the "theme" for the night - which hat?
